Music For Unicorns (MFU)
Music For Unicorns (MFU) is the music side of Unicorn Cycles—where endurance, obsession, and a little bit of chaos get turned into songs. MFU is an AI-assisted project built by a real human (and real cyclist) who loves big rides, big feelings, and big hooks. Some tracks will live squarely in the cycling world; others will wander into whatever story demands the loudest chorus. Either way, the goal is simple: make songs that feel like something—whether you’re rolling out before sunrise or spiraling on the couch after a long day. Follow MFU →
Temperamental Mistress
Debut Single | Released Dec 14, 2025
Genre / vibe: Alt-rock / indie • driving rhythm • open-road mood
“Temperamental Mistress” is a love letter (and a minor complaint) to the wind—every cyclist’s most dramatic training partner. It captures that familiar pre-ride optimism, the first hard gust that ruins your plans, and the grudging respect that keeps you coming back anyway. It’s a cycling song made by a cyclist: equal parts rhythm, grit, and the kind of motivation you can’t buy—only earn, one stubborn mile at a time.
MFU is rolling out a few new tracks soon—some nostalgic, some unhinged, all intentional (mostly).
“I’m Not Your Tape Fairy” – A sharp, nostalgic jab from the cassette-era halls of teenage commerce: yes, I’ll copy the tape… but no, I’m not supplying the blank, and the emotional labor.
“Queen of Mattress Town” – A dreamy, slightly unhinged anthem for anyone who’s ever fallen into bed “for five minutes” and woken up in a different time zone. Regal vibes, questionable decisions, and a crown made entirely of crumpled laundry.
“Two Cocks” – Before your brain goes there: it’s about two floppy-eared cocker spaniels as the rhythm section—paws, tails, and tiny heartbeats keeping time while a record spins in the dark. Cozy, ridiculous, and somehow weirdly holy.
